The creative design process requires the graphic designer to challenge himself and remain open to revising sketches again and again until a deeper awareness emerges. He must remain vigilant during the entire design process and react impartially to surprises. Given the overabundance of design and technological possibilities, an inability to reduce options is a constant danger during the design process. It is above all humility, not solely mastery of craftsmanship, that leads to clarity in creative expression. Limiting materials, combined with the courage of self-restraint, can bring about a new quality. The simpler the means, the stronger the expression—and the more the design will speak for itself. A beautiful experience!
